As you know, Doubling Season operates on a regular daily schedule much like other Magic: The Gathering sites.  We’ve got a great team of writers on tap for your education and edification, so you’re probably going to want to know when you can catch them!  Our “work week” at DS is a bit different.  Most sites operate on a Monday-Friday schedule, to suit the common man’s working week.  Given that the majority of Magic news breaks over the weekend, we operate on the following schedule.

Thursday: The Nut Draw by Chris McNutt – Chris crunches numbers, organizes data, and generates a mind-bending number of spreadsheets for you to devour.  He is doing very important work in finding and mapping trends.

Friday: TBA

Saturday: Quiet Speculation by Kelly Reid – Kelly covers a wide range of theoretical topics in his constant quest to better understand the forces at work behind the MTG secondary market.  His speculations usually relate to the Standard format, but he has been dabbling in Extended since the changes announced.

Sunday: Gwafa’s Bazaar by Russell Tassicker – While Russell is qualified to write on just about any topic he pleases, he’s been working hard and grinding out Tix on MTGO for your reading pleasure.  He is well-versed in the Standard format and will be advising DS readers weekly on the best MTGO trades as well as writing tutorial articles to help new MTGO’ers get started.

Monday: Top Level Trading by Jonathan Medina – Jonathan will be sharing the Legacy coverage duties with Doug, as well writing a wide range of theory articles.  Jonathan specializes in trade analysis and is becoming well-known for his Pack To Power series on ManaNation.
