I have a good no land keep story myself, so I always find these entertaining. I'll post it below if anyone cares to read it.

Pro Tour Yokohama 2007 (I think; it was TSP block constructed) I started 7-0 but lost the last round of the day. In great shape, I eventually go on a sour run in the middle of the second day to eliminate myself from top 8 contention. Last round of the tournament I'm playing Hall of Famer Tsuyoshi Fujita with the monoblue beatdown deck I lost to early in the tournament, but this time I know how to approach the matchup.

He nuts me game 1, but I get him back game 2. Game three he keeps his opener after some deliberation. I have to throw mine back. I then draw 7 (it was a long weekend), which he obviously snap-called me on, so I went to 5. Then to 4, where I saw: Stormbind, Harmonize, Harmonize, Search for Tomorrow. I know my best cards in the matchup are Stormbind and Harmonize, and I have enough land of the right type in the deck to make this happen, so I keep. Obviously peel a Forest on turn 1 to suspend my Search. He is doing nothing in the meantime, and I draw my second land, a Mountain. Third turn my Search unsuspends (which I think he should have Canceled if he had it), I find my third land and then draw my 4th, but he Cancels my Harmonize. I untap and Harmonize again, which resolves, and now I know he doesn't have anything, so my Stormbind resolves next and he just scoops after he realizes that I'm willing to move all-in on Stormbind. I end up 15th place for $4000 :).

First it was Knight of the Reliquary when we knew the next block would be about land. Then it was Stoneforge Mystic when we knew the next block would be about artifacts.

Let's promise ourselves that next August we'll listen to that voice in our head about whatever card is clearly going to rule next season.
