There are certainly a large field of options. It's interesting to hear how metagames are different between MTGO and IRL.

Thanks, Brian! I knew Canonist was starting to see more play because of all the hype around Past in Flames in Modern. But it wasn't until I saw buy lists offering $4.50 on the Canonist that I internalized her price increase! Teeg has also seen a minor bump, although not as significant as Canonist. It may be the season of the Hate Bears considering the rise in popularity of these two cards combined with the printing of Thalia.

Oh, thanks for pointing that out! I didn't realize Goblin Guide was the Grand Prix Promo (seems pretty underwhelming after getting Umezawa's Jitte, no?). That may keep the value of the guy in check, but I don't see much downside from here.

I also wanted to add that Chord of Calling has shot up rather significantly (very much the same trend as Proclamation of Rebirth). I think this is becoming a common occurrence. An older 1-2$ card sees play in a winning Modern deck and jumps up to 8$. Keep an eye out for others that may follow the same pattern.
