Really good article. I missed Bonfire for all the reasons you stated, though luckily I caught my mistake early and advised getting on them at $20. That said, it's not far from its ceiling, which really can't be more than $50-55 at the very max.

You say you can't see Bonfire hitting $45 yet the day after the article is published it's 45tix on modo ,sold out on SCG for $40 and averaging $41 on tcg player

Thanks! I didn't want to overwhelm people at the beginning. It's also hard to remember "cards that I did not buy" and why I didn't do that – my memory doesn't always go back too far! I'll certainly do more card studies coming up – especially on cards that aren't going up based on spoilers but are going up based on tournament play.

Nice article. However I expected some more case studies. maybe for the future?
For example, why entreat the angels is going down, while it is played in legacy. And what if it starts seeing play in Modern?

Also a question, where did you get the graphs? Is it a program or a site?
