At the moment they are 2.5 and the 3rd expansion of the latest block. Based off your articles I’ve decided to use around half of my spec tix for boosters as more of a safe bet until I will need the tix in October.

Just wondering;

– when M14 comes out, that will be the reward for a lot more limited in MTGO right? Which in turn should start to drive the price back up?

– what’s your policy on offloading? I was thinking as soon as they hit 3 tix, perhaps 3.25 I’d offload – but not sure what trends or information to look for

If you do see a low price on a particular booster, it's often the case that that bot is sold out of that booster but hasn't yet updated it's advertisement.

When looking for alternates to the monopolist, start with the two mentioned in the article, supernovabots and thecardnexus. Beyond these two I do not know which bots are controlled by whom. After checking these two, if you scan the classifieds for a particular pack, you'll notice that most packs are similarly priced so shopping around is often not worth it, especially if you are leaving credit at different bots. When shopping for boosters, my advice would be to get a sense for what the approximate market price is for any given booster, don't overpay when buying them, and don't spread your credit around between too many different bots.

This info would be very helpful just for shopping around for packs and trying to find the best deal.

It is always possible that anything I say is incorrect. I appreciate all dissenting opinions and evidence that refutes my arguments. Cheers!

I know quite a few chains that differ greatly in prices. Tonight I bought 50 ISD boosters at 3.65 and sold back to another bot at 3.9

Timing the buying of packs is harder than singles, but timing the selling of packs is much easier because of the inherent limit (ie about 4 tix) to their price in the short term. It's very possible that DKA might not move much in price over the coming months. People will have to get bored of RtR before they start looking elsewhere, or if the ev is sky high on ISD/DKA limited that grinders actively pursue the format.

Glad to hear it worked out on NPH packs.

Thank you for breaking down the "why" of pack suppresion!
