As a misers copy it’s not too problematic. You have Stifle to combat opposing Wastelands along with Brainstorm/Izzet Charm to either dig for more lands or to just ditch the Clique entirely. Not to mention that it can always be pitched to FoW.

I’ve found myself playing my third land a pretty good amount of the time lately just to be able to cast multiple spells or to pay for Spell Pierces/Dazes, so I really don’t believe that one three-drop is too much of a stretch. I’ve also tapped more than my fair share of Wastelands for mana.

Interesting decklist (though to be honest I’m in the “Hates RUG” camp), but I was curious if the lone Vendillion Clique ever proved problamatic simply due to it’s high CMC (for this deck). I’d imagine it would get stranded quite often as you have to have 33% of your colored lands in play to cast it, but perhaps in your area Wastelands aren’t as prevalent.
