A couple decks very similar to this one (they tend to play Magma Jet (to use the Burning Tree mana on turn 2 if necessary) and to clear out smaller blockers (tidebinder mage’s) and they’ve been brutally consistant in the local meta….Frostburn Weird has now become the defacto creature of choice here for both the mirror and for any/all decks that play blue and need to stem the bleeding from this style of deck.

I’m playing a similar deck right now except R/W build w / legions initiative to blink my team when I have Purphoros and/or a Fanatic of Mogis in play. 🙂
