The reason for the “pseudo-synergy” between Elspeth and Ajani is cause of the story itself with those to “pairing up” to fight lol. Its kinda cool I guess taking the story and morphing it into game play. They do it a lot and its pretty fun.

With Jace, Kiora, and Elspeth, you have some nice targets to “impulse” into. There’s some pseudo-synergy between Elspeth’s +1 and Ajani’s first +1.

I was actually really dissapointed with this Ajani. Was really hoping for some non casual format playability but it doens’t look like it’s going to happen. I actually see this falling in to some mid range build post rotation.
