Coming from a journalist, I don’t think you’re familiar with what “yellow journalism” actually is. There are far too many people upset – with valid claims – for it to be as rosy as you paint it.

As someone who exclusively plays in the Beta, let me try and be the voice of reason here. There is nothing wrong with the Beta. Kibler ‘ s article shows what a dummy he is- he says he has no experience using the Beta and then blames Wotc for his blundering about, when the blame rests on him for not poking about the Beta enough to familiarize himself with it. I play both modern and Draft using the beta and have no problems figuring out how big a goyf is or what is being targeted. Additionally the beta has the added bonus of a better drafting experience- your deck is ready to go by the end of pack 3.

Yes there are differences between the two clients, but this is nothing to be upset about.
