Actually – its not that good even in EDH. Great board wipe, seriously. But heres the thing:

MANY decks could care less about the creatures and planeswalkers. This card is little more than a mild inconvenience. The artifacts and enchantments, however, can maintain board state and allow to retain enough power to come back.

While the card does decidedly put you at an advantage, UNLESS you happen to have it while having lethal to every other player, and the only thing staving you off was some recurring planeswalker effect or actually the right amount of blockers in such a way that attacking STILL isnt a good idea, the card isn’t very great. Something like Insurrection costs one mana less and is much more likely to be game ending.
