I’d probably rather have shaman of spring than elvish visionary in limited. A random 2/2 will be a lot better than a random 1/1 so much more of the time that it should be worth the additional 2 colorless mana.

In reply to JasonAlt. Well, your article lead off talking about the cards in constructed and then didn't directly mention limited in any of the other card comments, so I think that framed the context for the rest of the card discussion. Regardless, I agree a 6 mana Time Ebb is generally bad, haha.

In reply to JasonAlt. I believe they are talking about the commons. I'd also have to concur that how over costed everything is (in comparison to older, similar cards) makes me think these were not intended to be constructed playable. I don't, however, agree with the tone they used to express this opinion.

It greatly hurts that you’re making constructed judgement calls on cards that are designed clearly with limited in mind.
