I am glad guessing is "fun" but you don't get to market your guesses as advice under the mtgfinance hash tag, especially if you are a guy with 1 follower accountable to no one.

Who knows if it’s bad advice? No one really *knows* what will or will not be reprinted in M15. But if someone is willing to inform me of X, Y, and Z and draws a conclusion, that’s pretty helpful. If someone says “SELL YOUR CHORDS OF CALLING NOW” that’s different from saying “hey there’s a good chance Chord of Calling gets reprinted in M15 because Convoke is a mechanic that they have already spoiled.”

Also, the “he’s not an asshole, cause hey…Twitter” argument is not valid. If you’re an asshole on Twitter, you’ve at least got some asshole-ish tendencies IRL.

I’m gonna go with black or G/B Garruk (though we already got one in ISD), and Nissa Revane (or a new version of her) in the G slot. I don’t expect a reprint of LotV until MMA2 at the earliest (if at all).

Nah, Kyle’s a nice guy. Maybe he didn’t approach it the best way, but it is Twitter.

That said, I agree that there’s about a 1% chance of LOTV being in M15, and that’s being generous.

My takeaway from this: Kyle Lopez is an asshole. Way to turn something fun (speculating on what will be reprinted, guessing at the hints WoTC drops, aggregating information and taking educated guesses etc) into a big-swinging-dick contest. It’s so much easier for people with money to be like “fine then bet me this outrageous sum of money,” than it is to engage with people in a discussion based on logic, reason, and what limited information exists. What an ass.

Poor guy just said “hey there’s a good chance of X happening based on what we know so far” and gets a dick sammich in return.
