A good goal for a personal and business budget might be to get a full month ahead on cash flow somehow. That way you are using the cash received in September to pay for October’s expenses and do not have to stress so much over September’s day to day cash flow problems because you made that money in August. It might take several months to get to that point, but it is totally worth it.
