I’m sure it’s great if you have a physical store to sell these. For everyone else, the internet is the main outlet for these, and competition is fierce.

Interesting you guys bring this up. I almost added something like this to the article. I will consider doing so for the next one. The only problem with that is that there tends to be little buy list info available close to the set release. Thanks for the input.

Bingo…my concern is that anyone new to MTG finance might read this and assume cracking boxes/cases is a good investment, when it’s clearly not. Perhaps put a “buylist” value under each box to show what the lowest amount of money you’d get from cracking your box would be…this would give an indication of both the high (your retail price) and low (the buylist price) to give people an understanding of the true value (of what most could sell it for).

Most people I would imagine cannot. Cards only hold the value you can actually get for them.
