Sword would be an interesting sea change, as there are a number of ways to do the deck, 2-color control (tezzerator style without good cantrips, slotting into us) 3-color control either grixis, esper or sultai likely also leaning on agent of bolts or some kind of combo deck with grand architect to gain infinite life and make infinite thopters. It opens up brewing which is a big environmental plus, and gives us an artifact deck that isn't affinity to pay around with in modern. I for one welcome our new 1/1 flying overlords.

I think I would like to see how Sword of the Meek would perform in the format. You make a compelling argument. Hopefully we get to explore this world and not just live it theoretically.
