In reply to Chaz V. It "works" in the sense that you would only need to cast 1 instant or sorcery instead of four. That said, it's still a terrible 3-card combo.

In reply to Chaz V. It works in the sense that you can clear the counters and then cast another instant/sorcery. But yeah, not a good combo. Nor Fate Transfer, for that matter. I think it's a bit crazy for Thing to be at $19.99 and STILL sold out. It's good but not quite that good.

I had the very same thoughts about Thing. Either way one is winning if they got in at $4.99 (or lower?) if it was ever lower. Still fine at $7.99, but now we’re at the point where this is coming down considerably.

One little side-note: Vampire Hexmage doesn’t actually work with Thing in the Ice.
