In reply to Gar-Rot Stone. Growth does not save Thing from Bolt, so that's more of a non-bo than anything. I don't think Thing is good in any Delver deck, and is especially bad in a deck with so many threats.

Have you got to test Thing in the Ice in Counter Cat yet? Running 4 mutagenic growths and so many 1 mana instants it seems like it could be the perfect fit.

Congratulations on the Top 8! Unfortunately, you didn’t run into any of the matchups I had questions about (a 4C deck is soft to Blood Moon – what else is new?), but hopefully you keep testing this deck and we can get some data on those.
