Well, at the moment I think the Scarab God is going to be a key card in Fall Standard. If that’s the case, I’d be looking for a peak in Nov/Dec.

And you are right, the redemption cutoff for AER and KLD didn’t really impact the set prices.

So, really the exact timing of when to sell Scarab God will come down to how things play out over the next month. If it’s 20 tix after the release of XLN, and it keeps climbing, then a 30 tix level is possible this winter. If it goes back to 10 tix after the release of XLN, then I’d expect it to continue trending down and I’d be ready to sell sooner rather than later.

If it shows up on camera at the Pro Tour, and there’s a price spike in response, I will probably take the opportunity to sell down some of my position at that time while holding the rest for the winter.

It’s not a precise answer because I need to make adjustments with new information! Hope that helps!
