Hi Eric!

Thanks for the kind words!! I will consider an article on TCGplayer vs. eBay in the future. But I must be fully transparent – I have been using eBay for over a decade now and have amassed a large feedback base. To start all over again on TCGplayer would mean I’d have to build up that reputation all over again. That’s definitely a big factor, but it doesn’t apply to everyone.

But even still, there are other reasons too. I’ll think on it some more.

Thanks again!

Sig

David,

You’re right that a bigger jump is necessary to profit with buy lists. But in your example, if you buy a card at $10 and sell at $15, you’re going to net $12 after fees and shipping. In the meantime, you’ll get $11 + trade bonus. So you’d have another situation where credit would actually be better than selling on eBay.

But I do understand your point and it’s good to keep in mind. Thanks for commenting!

I would love to hear why you don’t sell there. Keep the great articles coming. Thanks

If a $10 card jumps to $15..the buylist might go from $7 to $11..thus decent profits are only possible if the card jumps significantly.
