It’s definitely troubling, but with some adjustments it should be solvable. The main problem with both decks is how long it takes them to actually win if the opponent doesn’t concede.

It allows them to clear the board of any troublesome permanents while also going infinite with banishing knack or retraction helix. And I had the same thoughts that you expressed in this article…pure combo decks that get to run a powerfully interactive card as PART of the combo seem really powerful.
