As for your question, it’s a common occurrence in Magic that players favor those with old arts (or collectively known in the grapevine as OG cards) and this is the reason why they cost more than the reprints. I think the article you’re requesting for has been explained in different parts by my colleagues if you have Insider access but it’s something that we could surely ask if someone could write about all at one go. I focus more on those that trend out of nowhere but has a broader scale of audience who might be interested to speculate on them rather than fringe ones. But I do those from time to time every Friday!

I have one question, some of the Battlebond cards haven’t been printed in over a decade like Angelic Chorus in 10th edition ($5) but that version is more expensive than Battlebond’s (.50) printing, why? Other included Greater Good ($9 vs 3) Diabolic Intent ($10 v 5) Genesis Chamber ($2 vs .50). I think it would be a great idea to have an article about fringe sets like original Arch Enemy, Beatdown, Battlebond, and Conspiracy, sets that most pass on. I would think an article on Non Basic land from older sets, Pain Lands, Depletion lands, and etc. Some of these lands come out of nowhere, like FOIL Temple of the False God, FOIL Terrain Generator, all Snow-Covered..
