Then you could also have one or two Nyx Weaver in your 60 to get back a payoff card in yard, maybe testing will tell if it feels required.

Yeah no I looked up the utility lands and it doesn’t seems that good an idea, too slow.

Though I believe one thing that could be nice to try is the new green Seismic Assault clone, Ayula’s Influence.

The advantage would be the ability to chump block goyf and friends while overunning it in the long run.

And Collective Brutality seems very good with its lose 2 life, gain 2 life mode to get the reach seismic assault had.

I will try this :p

For that purpose certainly, and it is possible that going forward Loam Engine does go the commander route.
I don’t know how that would work, since compared to Legacy the creature control lands are weak, but it could work.

It doesn’t draw the good cards in the deck.
The playable snow permanents are generally cogs in the machine and if we’re drawing cards we’re looking for answers or payoffs. There’s not enough snow for Glacial Revelation to reliably be a draw 6, so you’d be better off with more conventional draw spells.

I’ve got an idea of how we could put it to use: doing a land-matters deck, as it is done in edh.

Why not work around utility lands and manlands, maybe using stuff like Azusa to dish out lands?

Also for the yard hate side (or even bloodmoon), if the deck stays with black I’d say use the Inquisition of Kozilek/Thoughtseize package to chirurgically remove hate ? The 3/2 cut as proven to give a high chance of having one in your starting hand and with the right timing it could just do the trick.

It’s not full-proof for sure, but still better than nothing. And definitly better than raven’s crime for this purpose.

True, in a creature heavy Loam strategy there will always be plenty of targets. You could use it as a value or grinding plan?
However, how is Unearthing Fulminator better than just recycling Ghost Quarter? Then there’s the problem of dredging away the Unearths instead of using them. It sounds like a more elaborate Dredge.

Could you combine it with Loams and Fulminator Mages? Maybe countryside Crusher Needs to be a slow roll out of an unearth (which also has cycling)
