1. Creative license, but you’re technically right. When killing with Seismic Assault, you don’t usually say “activated Assault until they died” you say “I flung all the lands at his face.” Same’s true here. It’s Omnath’s ability, other’s trigger it, focus on the things doing the triggering rather than the source.
2. I’ve tried that in the past, and it’s certainly a plausible way to go. The problem is that Mimic can’t be found by Matron or Ringleader. Thus it becomes harder to assemble the kill, so I’m looking for goblins to make the combo work.

There’s currently a lot happening for modern so I’m really looking forward to some brews/brewing. Two questions:
In the part about the elementals you state “Each elemental then domes the opponent until they’re dead.” doesn’t only Omnath do that, or do you mean something else? Second: How do you feel about a combo Goblin deck with putrid Goblin and metallic mimic? They make infinite fodder for the sling-gang or prospector.
