I’m assuming that the Netflix show went nowhere. I’ve always thought that WotC was being held back. It’s very interesting to see the company’s actual investors saying it.

They’ve too much history at this point for anything else. Regardless of what they say in their letter, there’s an ever-present risk of Wizards ending up like Toys R’ Us.

On the other, I agree with basically everything they said, though not always for their reasons. Magic, particularly everything digital, has not been well managed for some time now. And with Jonny Magic involved I can at least believe that they want Wizards to last. For whatever that’s actually worth.

So, I guess I’m guarded about all of this.
