Card advantage always sees play in other formats. The low number of banned cards does seem like WotC is making a conscious effort to release underpowered sets for a healthier Standard metagame and drafting. That’s not bad for the metagame but it’s terrible for the market. The problem is that they’re still releasing 200-300 more cards for Standard every year than they used to before the pandemic. That’s still too much bulk.
