If Thalia sees that much play, 8-10$ is possible. But I don't think it's highly likely to see that price bump. Especially if its play in Standard is inconsistent. Phantasmal Image sees a ton of Standard play and some legacy play in Fish and it's only been $8-10. I think we all agree Thalia breaking $10 is pretty much not gonna happen – she'd have to be as popular as Stoneforge Mystic was in her hayday.

Stoneforge exists and Thalia carries Jitte and swords quite nicely, as she forces opponent to pay 2 for bolts and stp (going under Daze).
My prediction is that give this card enough time to be seen 3x in a scg top4 decklist and his price will rise 8-10$.

^ I agree w / sig on this one. Unless she sees heavy standard play as well as in the older formats I don't think she has much room to grow beyond $6. In FOIL however… :).

An interesting Modern deck WOULD certainly be glowrider + Thalia + Thorn of amethyst as a base. I could see a haterator deck arising from something like this.

Is she going to be critical to a tier 1 strategy, or will she be a go-to sideboard card like Teeg, Canonist, etc.? If she finds a home in a creature-based strategy in an eternal format, her value could climb up to 8-10$ (like Phantasmal Image, for example). If and only if she grows more widespread and finds a comfortable home across formats will she get up to $12-15 (Noble Hierarch for example). If my gut is correct and she primarily sees sideboard play in tier 1 eternal decks, then I feel a 5$ price tag is appropriate..

The card will be very good in older formats, I think, but I'm not you're noting the right interaction with Teeg. Making the spell cost 1 more to play does not increase its CMC.

Thalia's real stage will be in legacy. As soon as Thalia hits board, blue decks can't tap out and then Force of Will. As soon as FoW costs mana, they lose their effect. She increases mana required for removal as well, kinda protecting herself. Overall, I see her price shooting to double-digits very fast. It's an answer to UR delver's ponder-to-flip, Kessig's blasting and birds, and basically every responsive spell chain. Running in with gaddock teeg literally locks out entire decks in modern, so she also has a captive audience there.

I really like Thalia, and I hope she does see some play. As a rare hate bear, the only way she's going to transcend the $5 price tag is if she sees decent standard play. If that happens, I can see her topping out at $8-$10. Only if she completely warps the format will she get more costly. I do like all the human cards' synergies, though.

Thalia seems like a huge tempo play in the right build and if Standard happens to not be too creature heavy (which I am sure it will be).
